This Privacy Policy explains how Teleprompter Offline & Private (the “App”) handles your information. The App is built to work fully offline for its core functionality — scripting, teleprompter display, and recording — and does not require an account or sign-up.

**Information we collect**

The App itself does not require an internet connection to function, and we do not run our own servers that collect your data. We use Firebase (a service provided by Google LLC) solely for crash reporting and basic usage analytics, so that we can fix bugs and understand which features are useful. This may include:

- **Crash and diagnostic data** — technical details about app errors or crashes, used only to fix bugs and improve stability.
- **Usage data (Analytics)** — anonymized information about how features are used (for example, that a recording was completed), to help us improve the App.
- **Device identifiers** — a non-persistent identifier used only for aggregated analytics, not tied to your identity.

This data is **not linked to your identity**, is **not used for advertising or ad tracking**, and we do not build user profiles or sell/share this data with anyone other than Google (Firebase), acting as our data processor. **Your content**

Any scripts, text, and settings you create, and any videos you record, are stored only on your device. We have no access to them, and they are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

**Ads and tracking**

The App contains no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

**Permissions**

If the App requests a device permission (for example, camera, microphone, speech recognition, or Photos access), it is used solely to provide the requested feature on your device (recording, voice-following, or saving your video) and is not used to collect data beyond what is described above.

**Children’s privacy**

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 beyond the anonymized diagnostic and usage data described above, which is not linked to identity.

**Data deletion**

Because your scripts, settings, and recordings stay on your device, deleting a script or recording removes it, and uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device.

**Changes to this policy**

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
